*RARE GON BOPS SUPER TUMBA DELUXE SERIES CONGA MAHOGANY

Description

Rare extra large Gon Bops conga drum! Super tumba is 13.25". Wood is "mahogany", Phillipine Luan to be exact. This is the Deluxe model where they put a layer of fiberglass over the wood. I did some re-finishing on the drum, and just put a new Venezuelan cowskin head on the drum. I also put a vinyl tubing bumper on the bottom of the drum. Previous owners installed an "Alma" (metal ring) in the top inside of the drum for support. They also added metal bands around the drum. ***HARD TO FIND THIS SIZE!***
